Central Jakarta to Hold Literacy Tour

Central Jakarta Library and Archival Sub-dept. does some efforts to attract student's interest in reading to the library. One of them is by holding a literacy tour.
The point is to increase student's interest in reading to the library
Meti Lastri, Head of Central Jakarta Library and Archival Sub-dept., said literacy tour is the result of cooperation between School Bus Transport Management Unit and Central Jakarta Education Sub-dept.
"Education Sub-dept. will prepare schools to visit the tour and school bus facilities," he stated, Thursday (3/30).
Library in North Jakarta Reaches 1,500 Visitors Per DayAlong January-February 2017, the number of library visitors in his region has touched 2,000 people each month. For March, through such program, it is targeted 3,000 visitors. "The point is to increase student's interest in reading to the library," he stated.
The visit to library is held three once a week. Every visit is dedicated to 80-100 students.
